A sit-inside recreational kayak is a great platform for fishing in small bodies of water, small flowing rivers and streams, and cypress swamps. Some of the important equipment would include a GPS unit and survey ribbon, to keep the paddler from becoming lost. Loppers or clippers aid in removing overhanging branches. If paddling in secluded areas, always remember to pack everything you "might" need, and let someone know how long you plan to be on the water.
